Stravinsky was so impressed by a young Zevon that he invited him over and shared his personal scotch with him. Start with Desperados Under the Eaves, The French Inhaler, Empty-Handed Heart, Backs Turned Looking…, Indifference of Heaven, Piano Fighter, self-titled album, Life’ll Kill Ya, go from there.
Excitable Boy is, from front-to-back, one of the greatest rock albums of all time. Zevon was the fucking man.
