hes a plant, and like an actual plant not like a Geese plant. hes had many other unsuccessful monikers before his agents got him to settle on 'jesse welles, guy who plays protest songs while surrounded by nature', and all of the albums he put out under those other monikers were with warner music group (as are his recent ones). all of this info is readily available, even on his wikipedia page. everything about him is inorganic despite how hard the labels try to make it seem otherwise
