these dudes cut their teeth in bands that went nowhere and floundered for years before discovering a sound, honing their craft all the while. you think zoomers have the patience for that?

and to be fair, a "bohemian" lifestyle was easier in those days. you could dick around and play in bar bands in a way that's impossible today. rent's just too damn high
