A dozen songwriting demos recorded in 1964 in order to pitch the songs to other artists. One song was picked up by the Byrds, another was done by Marianne Faithfull. Jackie's voice has a raspy edge compared to Joan or Judy or Joni (Baez/Collins/Mitchell for the zoomers) which helps set her apart. These recordings were just officially released for the first time this month.

Too much of a concept album for me too talk about it like that, it felt more like one experience than a collection of songs

Great/10, really good. It is such a crazy concept but they pulled it off. I love the silent film thats based on the same play this album is based on, and they really did a great job adapting these themes and the overall vibe and feeling to a rock album. I wonder if it makes any goddamn sense if you aren't familliar with the play/movie though
