So which one is the better album?
>>130653575>betteralready starting from a false premise
Djed is their best track but TNT is their best album.
love Millions Now Living but TNT never clicked for me for some reason, a little sprawling maybe?
>>130653575Neither
>>130653575their first one

Millions > Debut > TNT
TNT, although Glass Museum is one of their best songs on any of their albums.
>>130653575TNT no question. TNT and Standards are the big hitters from Tortoise, the rest are all good too. Newest one wasn't too bad
Probably my favorite post-rock band. As long as I love most of their stuff, their best album has to be either Millions (for Djed alone) or TNT, which I think is their only cohesive record.
>>130653594spbp
>>130653575gotta be TNT, the airy jazz style production and noodly guitar line in the title track are deeply ingrained in my braini saw them play a dual headliner show with hot chip in 2007, it was a very weird and cool
>>130653575only good albums they ever released, unbelievably overrated band
>>130661260The new one is so good. Only gets better every time I've listened. >>130661384Odd take. TNT is undoubtedly one of their best, but Beacons of Ancestorship and It's All Around You are more cohesive.>>130662146Fuck yes. The title track is like a foundational melody in my mind. Would just come out all the time.
Their latest album was surprisingly nice too
Really grating band whose songs go nowhere. I strongly regretted buying TNT at the time
