does /mu/ like the the?
>>130660339The what?
>>130660339I like Talk Talk more than The The, personally

The The is really great. "Uncertain Smile" is probably my favorite piano solo in all of rock. Matt Johnson's earlier industrial-ish album "Burning Blue Soul" is also pretty interesting.
>>130660339Yes. Matt Johnson is woefully underrated and underappreciated.
>>130660359Cry about it
On the surface it's a pretty straightforward record. But a singer songwriter ethos with a new wave sheen is such a novel concept, don't think I've seen it done anywhere else>>130660379>Uncertain Smile" is probably my favorite piano solo in all of rock.base

>>130660339A bit cringe some of the lyrics but I guess they are a product of the times
>>130661823They were probably thinking "the".
just listened to this album for the first time. they sound like a more experimental Depeche Mode. wasn't quite taken by it this time but I'll definitely give it another try later.
>>130668302All their albums are good. Dusk especially. Check it out
>>130660339I do. Soul Mining and Infected are amazing albums
