I thought that they had a really solid sound with The Sciences / The Clarity / Leagues Beneath, so this is a strange new direction. It reminds me more of Al Cisneros's solo/experimental stuff, but even still it's not even as good as that. Did any of you guys happen to listen to Pillar of Fire / Capernaum last year? That was probably my favorite music release of last year.
this is pretty boring and a huge let down for me. dale crover is a sick drummer for sure but I can't see anyone filling in for matt pike. been waiting for years to see them live after I couldnt make the last show a few years back. now they finally come to town and my interest is pretty much zero. nusleep is DOA in my eyes.

I listened to it again, and I thought it was pretty chill. But it just isn't on the same level of Sleep or Om.
