ITT: /mu/ deaths you'll never get over
SOPHIE was the last interesting development in music and she died after making like two dozen songs
>>130684836Unironically Peep, X, and Juice WRLD dying within like 18 months was a huge deal. The angsty young person demographic was left with nothing and popular music went full corposlop. Probably caused the revival of nu metal and emo.
I'll never get over this last album. Has there ever been a better farewell album?
>>130684836:3
>>130684836His music was definitely getting worse and gayer but I always think about what could've been with him. I only got super into Gothboiclique like a week before he died.
Lietrally the most creative guitarist of his generation. An avid Flying V lover and man enough to shit on his main band that made him famous becasue he just wanted to play weird shizo fingerpicking blues.
>>130684836Zesty. He's got some sugar in his tank.
>>130685023Wouldn't mind bending that over.
>>130685166Who's that? He looks relatable somehow...
>>130684808I'm not sure if it'll ever feel "normal" that Ozzy's gone. Switching the discussion to past tense feels surreal as fuck. Another was Tarot's drummer Pecu Cinnari. Not only did they introduce me to metal, but when I was still on Facebook I was on casual speaking terms with their guitarist. This may sound silly, but it made Cinnari's passing feel more personal.
I miss this lil nigga like you wouldn't believe
>>130685239Saw Mastodon live once. They sucked shit.
>>130687017I saw them twice and they were horrible both times (way too loud and everyone looked bored aside from Troy). But B Hinds was the best songwriter in metal from 2000 - 2009.
>>130687500>best songwriter in metalLiterally not saying anything at all. Metal isn't about songwriting.
>>130687605As stupid as metal songs are some are better than others at writing or Ozzy would not have paid Lemmy to write Mama I'm Coming Home. Geezer Butler and Bob Daisley wrote the rest of the good ones.
>>130684808I'll finish the work he started (raping)
>>130687915>Bob Daisley wrote the rest of the good ones.Correct
I'm not a fan of 3 Doors Down but Brad Arnold dying of cancer made me really sad
>>130684808Brian was a pretty cool dude
Cornell was honestly the most shocking for me. Guy seemed to have shit under control, had a family and was touring again with Soundgarden. Cobain and Layne were strung out drug addicts but Chris seemed way more put together at least in interviews.
>>130684808I never got over PergolesiHe was only 26 for God's sake.
>>130684808Riverside guitarist dying at 40
>>130691158they all look like inbred siblings
>>130684944lol
>>130688256>(raping)Is he going to be the second person to make a rape rap song?
>>130686980based
>>130699577was the other one about accidentally raping his mom through a gang initiation?
2pac and Scott Walker
>>130684808Rob zombie died ??
>>130691387t. Lestat
>>130691272>>130700126
>>130685239>pisses in his own mouth in your path
>>130700129There's some skateboarders who wish he did.
>>130684836Anyone sad about this nigger-worshipping retard's death needs a bullet through their head.
>>130700250Qrd? I know he was friends with Dave Insurgent of Reagan Youth (great sounding hardcore pioneers but cringe inducing lyrical content) and I know Dave died from a drug overdose but failing to connect any dots here.
>>130684808*ugly crying* OH, JUST LIKE WE NEVER SAID GOODBYE, WHEN YOU HELD MY HAND IN THAT WAY
>>130685166He's got a certain pastiness about him...
>>130684808fuck that suicidal faggot, a real star that went thru some shit was my man toby keith a real american
The fact he died one day before John Lennon and was overshadowed by him fucks me up a lot.
Lou Reed. He wasn't that old
>>130706454It's not like it would have made national headlines or anything. The Germs were a niche punk band only known by people in that subculture.
