I've had that feeling with just about every new album I've tried listening to since early 2025. Nothing new feels real anymore so I mostly stick to old stuff on physical copies.

I've noticed this peculiarity as well. Especially bands that have been "silent" for well over a decade and suddenly have an entire full length recorded and ready for release.
