That's tough. Both bands would have been worse. I'm pretty sure nirvana still would have been successful. Pete best really sucks to the point that I'm not sure the Beatles would have made it through the mid 60s.

The reason chad made it in the band as long as he did was because he got along with Kurt and krist unlike Jason everman. Dave was the better drummer, chad was arguably more creative though
