Do you like Stomp Clap Hey?
>they're ok, I guess
Their early work was a little too underground for my taste. But when Ho Hey came out in '12, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole genre has an energetic, folksy sound, and a new mashup of commercialized authenticity that really gives the songs a big boost. It's been compared to Antifolk, but I think Stomp Clap has a far less bitter, more post-ironic sense of wonder.
