I've yet to hear or recall any of her music. The "sex sells" strategy doesn't translate to people actually bothering to trial your real products. I don't even know what her personality is either.

Look at Grimes. If you have a marketable personality and a worldbuilding aesthetic, then you can become organically popular. Even Lana only had the latter.
