why sad music sound better?
>>130709959cuz your emo lol
>>130709959Because it moves you ?, the feeling is more intense, you listen to a happy/mainstream song, once it finishes, you quickly forget, "sad" songs demand more attention, if they're sad + powerful they leave a stronger impression.
>>130709959likely because you're not an NPC
>>130710035Basically this. If sad music resonates with you more, it's because you are in the state of being a sad person.
>>130709959Ashamed to admit this, but The Disintegration Loops III makes me cry like nothing else, it really destroys me.
>>130710088dubs of trvthya nailed it
>>130709959You just vastly prefer it because you're an overly emotional pussy
when did emotional become synonymous with sad? is joy not a strong emotion?
>>130709959minor keys just hit different
>>130709959because if you're sad they move you, if you aren't sad songs seem boring
Dumb ESL
What does it mean if I enjoy whimsical music?
>>130711780this
>>130709959Because minor chords have more depth. It's kinda comparing heaven to hell in stories. Heaven is great n all, but gets pretty boring, pretty fast. Hell is just very fun to write about, all those different torture methods and all. Lots of ground to cover when your singing about sadness. But happy songs have all the same shit.
>>130712197It means you have a good chance at pursuing a happy life. Whimsy is what fueled the first Obama years' era of hipsterdom. It was however not converted into something lasting after the fact.
>>130710932the deluge made me cry the first time i listened to it. but, idk why, the effect never happened again? https://williambasinski.bandcamp.com/album/the-delugeit's really strange.
>>130709959because you're a miserable person. I was the same until I got a gf and now I like happy music.
