why sad music sound better?
>>

cuz your emo lol
>>

Because it moves you ?, the feeling is more intense, you listen to a happy/mainstream song, once it finishes, you quickly forget, "sad" songs demand more attention, if they're sad + powerful they leave a stronger impression.

likely because you're not an NPC

Basically this. If sad music resonates with you more, it's because you are in the state of being a sad person.

Ashamed to admit this, but The Disintegration Loops III makes me cry like nothing else, it really destroys me.

You just vastly prefer it because you're an overly emotional pussy
>>

minor keys just hit different

What does it mean if I enjoy whimsical music?

this

Because minor chords have more depth. It's kinda comparing heaven to hell in stories. Heaven is great n all, but gets pretty boring, pretty fast. Hell is just very fun to write about, all those different torture methods and all. Lots of ground to cover when your singing about sadness. But happy songs have all the same shit.

It means you have a good chance at pursuing a happy life. Whimsy is what fueled the first Obama years' era of hipsterdom. It was however not converted into something lasting after the fact.

the deluge made me cry the first time i listened to it. but, idk why, the effect never happened again? https://williambasinski.bandcamp.com/album/the-deluge
it's really strange.

because you're a miserable person. I was the same until I got a gf and now I like happy music.
