There's a new Mozart piece found in France and they're playing it for the first time in 250 years at 09:30 EST

Mozart wouldn't want it played.

probably not. Considering this is just an exercise manuscript, I'm not expecting anything terribly exciting. There is apparently 20 minutes worth of compositions compiled though.

i fucking kneel.
for some throw-away music it was pretty good. this motherfucker better get a grammy

this was actually a very interesting period for mozart, a sort of coming-of-age as a composer. he fell in love for the first time and got rejected, his mother died. during this time he composed poignant works like k.304 & 310. perhaps they will find his lost sinfonia concertante from this period!

anyway, the newly discovered music could be more worthy than just some childhood period mozart piece.

I hope they upload it individually since the interface sucks ass

I'm hoping for a release on other medias but for now it's the only way to listen to it.

Let me guess, it's called "Eine Kleine Anilingusmusik"?

a lot more history is going to be lost from our current time if everything is stored on fragile hard disks that in 200 years there will be no means to read the contents of even if they still worked as opposed to a paper manuscript that has no finite lifespan if stored properly and requires no electricity or technology to read.

I think only 25% of Bach's total output is known and cataloged.

Thanks!
