Is it really that good?

yes and no. It's a great album, but while it has some amazing tracks, it also has a number of really weak ones, and desu I like it less than Kid A, and probably even A Moon Shaped Pool. But it's still one of the best albums by one of the greatest rock bands ever. I think people overstate how experimental it actually is, but it has a beautiful sound and I think it was massively influential on post-rock.

A Moon Shaped Pool is garbage for Rymtards, everything past Ok Computer is very overrated, but yes, this album is good, although I like the Bends as much, if not more than.
>>
Every song from the first half of the album (before Fitter Happier) is better than every song from the second half of the album except for No Surprises.

>>130714692
except for climbing up the walls, too

This. Tracks like airbag paranoid android sub karma and no suprises and let down are all top tier but honestly the others just are kinda boring now. Even exit music honestly

>>130714763
I respectfully disagree
>>
>>130714592
Good but overrated.
>>
It was my favorite album when I was 12 and then I grew out of it. In my 30s now I still associate Radiohead with being baby's first band and have trouble not looking down on people who consider them a favorite.

It’s one of the greatest albums of all time
>>
It has some great songs but it also has boring shit like Subterranean, Electioneering and The Tourist
>>
>>130714592
Seinfeld effect. It influenced so much it seems like just a decent 8/10 alternative rock album now, but at the time it was the most modern and cutting-edge thing aesthetically to exist to date. It perfectly caught the wave of a particular millenarian tension in the zeitgeist of the 90s.
>>
>>130717196
subterranean is one of the best on it if not the best
>>
All of their albums are fucking terrible. I've said this over and over, but they make good singles, not good albums.
>>
>>130714592
no, but in rainbows is
>>
>>130718199
That’s a whole lot of words just to tell us you love sucking cock
>>
Any of the smile albums are better
>>
Is it good? Yes. Is it REALLY THAT good? not really
>>
>>130714592
We’re still talking about it
>>

>Is it really that good?
No. Nothing this band has ever done is half as good as it's reputation. The majority of their discography is "good," but absolutely NONE OF IT is exceptional.
