If you put Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley side by side on stage in their respective primes who would the audience respond to more?

Love elvis but honestly i feel that prime michael mogs him hard, however michael wouldn't exist without Elvis so it feels kind of wrong to ask who is better.

Elvis

Elvis, only niggers like MJ

Elvis was fucking huge but Michael was an even bigger star and basically reshaped what it meant to be an idol. Definition of the word iconic
>>
Depends on what you mean by a vague term like "the audience." Who is in this audience exactly, and in what way are they supposed to be responding? These guys both have just as many haters as they do fans, you know.

But MJ had more fans and was famous for longer, so he'd probably win.
Elvis made better music tho (don't @ me)

This question is retarded for a number of reasons
They sang differently & had difference voices/ranges
One is an evolution of the other (Elvis influenced pretty much everyone after him)
As the anon said above - who is the audience exactly? Is it someone born in the 40s? 60s? 80s? Elvis was revolutionary for his time but his stage presence was 'vintage' by the 70s.

IMO Elvis had a better voice but you're comparing 2 giants. I will always prefer baritones to tenors

There's more overlap between fans of Elvis and MJ than people realize so I'd imagine the audiences response would be pretty similar regardless
>>
There have only ever been four:

Sinatra ••••• Elvis ••••• MJ ••••• Biebs

Each was made possible by the one before.

It's a real shame that male baritones are no longer allowed because society is emasculated.

stfu baritones aren't real singers, they're just 'average guys' and sound like shit, give it up

Elvis had a bigger impact on American music culture. Just saying.

Elvis simply because he's more handsome due to being white.

So beautiful. His voice was so beautiful.

Michael incorporated dancing like was never seen before. Better dancer than Elvis.

Nobody can beat this.

MJ has better dance moves but Elvis has the kind of voice that can captivate an audience irl
