let it go bro
Now that the album has been out for over three weeks, I'm curious how most anons are interpreting the album as a whole. I've listened to some podcasts/reviews on youtube and I feel like there's a sizeable number of music nerds (aside from fagtano) specifically electronic music fans that seem to have been filtered by Inferno.
I've been wondering lately if the Crowley references tie into political figures who have espoused some of his ideas or been involved in the sex magic/ceremonial rituals he believed in; would be an apt blend of religious, occult, and political meaning that seems to be prominent on the album
>>130729042And I'm pretty firmly of the belief that HHLL contains a few references to Satanism, which a lot of people have overblown how "satanic" Geogaddi is but HHLL does seem to have several references in it
Still not bored of itWay better than Tomorrow's HarvestKrishna Krishna Hare

>>130728836>Now that the album has been out for over three weeksNow that the show is over, and we have jointly exercised our rights, we'd like to leave you with one very important thought. The same people who'd try to stop you from listening to Inferno might be back next year to complain about Inferno again.
Love Inferno. Love Boards.Simple as. The only problem is I have exchanged my Deluxe Edition twice now and both times gotten copies with worse pressing defects than before. At this point it's digital-only listening, which bums be out because I much prefer the mindfulness of listening on my turntable setup.

It just doesn't get old. I've been listening to this every day now for a month.
>>130728836I am gonna keep saying it, because my mind has not changed. I dislike the vocal sampling so much. It's just too much. Every. Fucking. Song.
>>1307351638 of the tracks (over half the album) have no vocals at all, and some of them (all reason departs) only have brief 20 or so seconds of vocalsMHTRTC and Geogaddi have just as many tracks with vocals on them
>>130735163Is this you?
oh this shit's still going? the album's been out and there aren't that many tracks, I think y'all exhausted whatever narrative y'all were trying to pushIt's just more of the old Geogaddi+The Campfire Headphase+etc bullshit. The only thing that changes was production value, but a polished turd is still a turdmove on
>>130737724>It's just more of the old Geogaddi+The Campfire Headphase+etc bullshitwhat you are even talking about lmfao
faggot OP saw the last thread needed 2 weeks to reach bump limit so he made another lmao BoCucks are starting to be as annoying as the Emilyfag>listening partyLOL
>>130737724it all makes sense when you realize the only ones still posting here are tourists of the genre.actual fans of electronic music have no shortage of new stuff to listen to. but BoC is more accepted on here so all the faggot rockuncs in a pathetic attempt to not seem close-minded latch onto this bullshit album
>Still playing janny weeks laterOh boy
>>130741099It's hilarious when they could just simply filter these threads but they purposely choose not to
What's your favorite BOC track that contains exactly 7 syllables in its title?

If you had to give a pet a Boards of Canada-inspired name, what would it be?
If you had to pick one cereal to be the unofficial Boards of Canada snack, what would it be?
If BOC's music had a scent, what do you think it would smell like, fresh pine forest or musty attic?
Which track from Inferno would make the best ringtone for a spaceship?
Which track from Inferno would be most likely to win a staring contest?
If each BOC album was a different type of cloud, which one would be the fluffiest and which one would be the most stormy?
Now that the vinyl edition has been out for a while, has anyone noticed differences in sound quality compared to digital versions? What are your thoughts?
