digipaks > jewel cases
Na na na enough
>>130730234They're fine if your collection is only digipaks, but they look shit and out of order on a shelf with jewel cases
>>130730234They feel more "premium" and break less often.I take care of my shit but jewel case snaps are the one thing that seems to break semi often. One thing I'll give jewel cases is that they're better for booklets.
>>130730234Digipaks are cheap dogshit, which is why they were only used for singles until some jewish label exec realized they could pitch them as environmentally friendly and use them to deliver consumers an inferior product while charging the same price
>>130731097Not really
>>130731187>Digipaks>cheap dogshit>environmentally friendlyLiterally makes zero sense. Digipaks are full-artwork customized packaging that is uniquely created for each album. They're the vinyl packaging of the CD world. Jewel cases are just a one of a million piece of plastic and a booklet.
>>130732962Or you could just spend 5 minutes googling it and see that getting digipaks printed up is still cheaper than ordering jewel cases and inserts. Paper is a renewable resource, unlike the petrochemical plastics (polystyrene & polypropylene) used in jewel cases, which are also non-biodegradable
>>130734001>is still cheaper>by 16 centsutterly delusional
>>130736619Imagine you're manufacturing millions of units
