For me, this is better than Rumours.

gotta be Rumours just for The Chain
anyway Tusk mogs them both
>>
>>130731677
Tuskdags are in denial about what the album actually is vs what they imagine it to be in their minds.

rumours despite it's popularity is just too damn good. i'll be contrarian and choose tango in the night if we're ranking buckingham nicks era

tusk is fun on full listens but it's just too much sometimes. i think tuskfags would be better off listening to lindsey's solo work since a lot of tusk just sounds like a test run for it.

How come us Beatles get shat on for even mentioning the Beatles on here, but you Fleetwood Mac fags get to talk about this gay soap opera band without any schizos?
>>
>>130733428
overrated as shit, and I say that as a peter green fan
>>
>>130734565
there are several schizophrenic welch/green schizos

You're not a Peter Green fan if you call his best work overrated.

The paradox of Then Play On is that it’s the most advanced and ambitious of the Green era albums yet the least cohesive or complete sounding. Many of the songs are intriguing and often brilliant work, but the whole is frustratingly disjointed and uneven and kind of unsatisfying.
Peter Green’s Mac in general felt like the tip of an iceberg that we never really got the chance to explore. They rose, evolved and then fell so fast.

peter green's career in general is so fucking sad. aside from the acid causality stuff, i feel like nothing he did with fleetwood matches the praise he got from people who saw him live at his peak.
end of the game is probably his best guitar work on a record, but even then, it's fucked over by the cutting. the label probably had little faith in him since there's a really shitty attempt at turning a long jam session into separate tracks. i'm curious if the studio recording from that day survived so we could hear it unbutchered.

That’s why Live in Boston is my favorite release from his era of the band. Absolute smokin’
