>>130793059Appreciate that, thanks! I would actually say the vocal delivery on the softer songs / the stuff in my lower range is one of the only things I wish i could have done a bit better. The engineer who recorded it is great, and he encouraged me to really project my voice as much as possible. I think it works on the heavier songs, but I actually feel like a softer / more intimate delivery on a song like The Pledge would have been truer to the feeling of the song, personally. I feel like the disaffected thing comes from me actually being sort of caught in the middle between a softer and a more intense delivery that doesn't work in all cases. Still very proud of the album and happy with it overall tho. It's nice to hear that you like The Pledge specifically! That's the song I'm the most insecure about, not because I think it's bad by any means but sounds different than how I envisioned it whereas the other songs sound pretty much how I intended, so it's nice to hear that it's a standout for you
