My three least favourite trends in music, no particular order:

1 - Heavy use of gated reverb on drums, 80s style
2 - The excessive vocal processing/vocoder use in 10s-20s pop
3 - Addition of fake vinyl noise, especially prevalent in millennial electronic music

what are yours?

I don't mind "real" pig vocals- like trashy ass dm and grindcore shit- but I'm getting real sick of novelty slam, and "good" bands jumping on the novelty slam trend with new side projects, and then making their joke band become the main band, because they figured out they can fill local venues to capacity with idiots eating that shit up right now. Pig noises are for OUR PEOPLE- not pudgy lil college boys larping as rednecks, with their stupid Boss vocal box and dangly earrings.
