>effortlessly mogs every 90s post-hardcore record
>>130895733Unwound > Thursday
>>130895733Nice. Yes it does. >>130895793No.
TIME TO LET THIS PASSTHE TIME IT TAKESTHE TIME IT TAKESTO LET GO
>>130895733How much eyeliner were you wearing when you made this thread
It's really good but it doesn't top Helmet at their peak.
>>130895733The live album mogs itself.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eC42hIE-I0
Best track is Cross Out the Eyes
>>130898799None
>>130900013It’s actually Understanding In A Car Crash, but that’s a close second
Crazy that their next album was so bad. So fucking bad. Did they ever make another good one? The live ep was good, jet black new year was a cool track.
>>130900326>Crazy that their next album was so bad.Are you fucking retarded?War all the Time is fucking GOAT.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QQQetnmxcwIt's the album that came after (City by the Light Divided...or whatever) that was absolute shit.
>>130901196I disagree, but ill give it another try
>>130901558The only bad track on WatT is Signals Over the Air -- and even that one isn't that bad.I'm sorry I said fucking retarded; I didn't mean that. I was just hangry at the time -- not at you, at life.
They were really the first with that sound. They were pioneers for sure. Although I still argue that The Smiths were the first post-hardcore emo band. I dont hear it in joy division at all before you cry.
>>130901615All good man I get passionate about shit I like too but yeah I'll give it another go it's been years desu
>>130901196this is my favorite song from them too. And calling that album bad is crazy. Everything after that one though I cant defend.
>>130901674>Everything after that one though I cant defend.Same. That's a shame too, I feel like A City by the Light Divided was their low point, and No Devolucion and Common Existence are a bit better, but not nearly as good as WatT and Full Collapse.
>>130901634>Although I still argue that The Smiths were the first post-hardcore emo bandHow can you think that? I’m perplexed
>>130901875the sound and style is way too similar
>>130901929How so? Emo post-hardcore is characterized by a mix of screaming vocals and melodic singing, loud, distorted power chords. The Smiths has none of this. The only comparison you could really make is the lyrics both being emotional, but they aren’t even similar either.
that aint acrobatic tenement
>>130900326i think beggars is a very good record
>>130901972shit i got them mixed up with thrice
>>130901976Speaking of Thrice, thanks for reminding me. This is a strong contender for best post hardcore album ever.
