Any anons ever been to Rocklahoma? How was the experience? I'm a native Okie who's only been to one concert my whole life and it was August Burns Red which in retrospect sucked and I just wanted to fit in with my friends who like that screamo shit. This seems more to my taste.

I would actually definitely recommend going to a festival, they're a lot of fun. I've never wanted to go to Rocklahoma, but if it's close to you then why not. I went to picrel this year and it was great.I guess plan out the bands you want to see. desu if I was there I'd skip Friday because none of those bands interest me, but if I was there Jet might be fun for nostalgia, and Slaughter has an amazing vocalist at least. Saturday seems like the best day - I'd love to see Wolfmother and Militarie Gun, and Dropkick Murphys and Pennywise would be fun. Sunday's a mixed bag, but it has the only good headliner, Slayer, and aside from them I wouldn't mind seeing Ugly Kid Joe, Suicidal Tendencies, The Pretty Reckless, and Black Label Society.desu if I was there I'd probably only get a day pass for Saturday, and skip the other two.
