what is /mu/s opinion about nick cave both as an artist and a human being?
>>130897466i just assume every artist is a mid-to-shitty human being
>>130897519probably, cant be coincidence 2 of his kids offed themself either.
>>130897466Consistently the greatest rock artist of all time. Nice guy who takes time to interact with his fans, both in person and online.
>>130897674i was at two of his concerts (one time with the bad seeds and one time with grinderman) and it was both awesome, he really gave his all both times, he was sweating like crazy at the end but still kept going.
>>130897466Was sick af in the birthday party
>>130897466Great artist but also a junkie. And you know how junkies are.
>>130897466This dude is genuinely so old now. I love his music though. The Good Son and Henrys Dream and Boatmans Call are my favourites. His script writing sucks tho. I should read Gladiator 2. He looks like lee marvin
>>130897466Debut is great, everything else is mediocre. Highly overrated despite the aforementioned.
>>130897466Wineauntcore. Even better as a father than a songwriter.
>>130898488>Henrys DreamBased>His script writing sucks thoReally? I thought the proposition was pretty good
>>130898556Well, maybe it's fault was in John Hillcoats execution. I just didn't like his style. Should spin Lawless
>>130897466Murder ballads is grand high kino and should be a /mu/ essential
Great singer, I'm recently discovering more send he's good.Unfortunately streaming service algorithm sometimes makes you dislike something you don't know even know.
Goated. Some of the best ballads i've ever heard. For me, it's gotta be No More Shall We Part. Underrated album that dosen't get talked about enough but it's a no skip for me and one of my favorite albums of all time. Highlt reccomend giving it a listen if you haven't.
dropped him when I learned he was openly a zionist
Birthday Party “Nick The Stripper” or Bad Seeds Nick Cave?… because those are two different people.
>>130897537One was an accident honestly>>130897674I tried multiple times to listen to his albums and outside a couple songs I can't especially the new ones. But then I see his live shows and he just mops the floor with the audience, even with the material from his recent mourning albums.
>>130901766He’s was better off staying to what he was doing on From Her to Eternity
Mercy SeatPapa Won't Leave You HenryGet Ready For LoveTrain Long SufferingRed Right HandDo You Love MeAll kinos
He has a secret thing with Florence Welch
>>130897466He's a pretty shitty vocalist, but Into My Arms is a good song. And that duet he did with Kylie Minogue in the mid 90s.
>>130905932>He's a pretty shitty vocalist, but Into My ArmsHis vocals on The Boatman's Call are consistently great
>>130897466How bad was his mouthbreathing during childhood?
>>130905939They're not since Into My Arms is on that album and you can literally hear that his voice is sometimes flat on that song.
>>130899539heard it for the first time like a month ago. He had that unhinged sound down pat on a couple songs, production sounded good, nothing was really bad
