What are the best musical performances you've ever witnessed. Not studio tracks necessarily, but impromptu recordings, radio spots, live sessions, anything. Because it's not always about the song, or the singer, but about both, and the performance, and the circumstance.

I'll start. Changes covered by Charles Bradley for the Toronto Star https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfaOf70M4xs

I want a thread of performances that hit you, right in the soul.

This live performance of Zess.
Zess is usually one of Magma's weaker and least interesting suites compositionally but this live version is one of the most powerful and goosebump-inducing things they've ever done. Vander is straight-up channeling something divine.

this performance is pretty much perfect imho. so light hearted and fun but they all play like they are able to read each others minds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNKbrPRlcso
