realistically you could stop after pic related and have gotten everything important there is to get from the strokes. the new abnormal is their best sonically, but it also flies in the face of everything that made them an influential and meaningful group for indie rock. FIOE is shit and angles is a hotchpotch of shit and decent tracks.
