AI is supposed to replace our jobs not our art and I don't want to listen to it
>>
saar ai is the future saar
>>
What if you're retarded like me and can't tell a difference
>>
>>130994583
dumbahh
>>
>All AI music should be labelled as such
There's literally no possible argument against this.
>>
>>130994642
.>:(((( It sounded real good.
It was also not in english and I didn't read the description.
>>
>>130994301
ai just sounds cheap. plastic and robotic, it gives me a vaguely queasy feeling whenever listening to it
>>
boy I sure am glad this epic new technology has come to free humanity from the burden of creating art so we can focus on our real passion of doing manual labor instead thanks jews
>>
>>130994650
that's fine anon
>>
AI mathematical formulas are not music
>>
>>130994902
You're welcome, remember, God loves you.
>>
Most people who use AI are lazy or use it as a shortcut, and it is formulaic and trends to a CGI look or autotune sound. If you use the Suno app you will find after a while the songs sound pretty much the same and recognize the vocal tics, and it will sound like absolute garbage
>>
>>130994301
Art is not a good selling point for AI, it offers no real advantages in this regard because you don't really have much creative control over what an AI generates unless you really get into the weeds of prompt engineering but if you're going to put all this effort into AI generation, you're better off just making it yourself, because then you at least maintain copyright over it. AI generated art really just exists for people who don't like making art, so you're probably going to see a lot of it in Hallmark greeting cards or advertisements or generic shit like that.

>AI is supposed to replace our jobs not our art
is AI preventing you from creating art? seems like it's just adding to human art.
>>
>>130996209
Is it? Has there been an artistically worthwhile album made with AI? All I've seen are meme novelty songs and lo-fi hip hop slop mixes for Youtube, or jingles made by kids and old people like "I LOVE YOU GRANDMA"

>Has there been an artistically worthwhile album made with AI?
I don't know. I haven't heard one. Regardless, AI is not hindering anybody's ability to create art.
>>
>>130994301
if you only listened to real music you would never encounter AI music to begin with
>>
>>130996426
>search youtube for compilation of -insert genre-
>get AI made songs of said genre
>DERRRRR IF YOU ONLY LISTENED TOOOO
>>
>>130996224
I suspect that people who are smart enough to use AI in a way that makes the end result sound genuinely good and realistic are also smart enough not to disclose that AI was involved, given the problems and biases they would possibly face.
>>
>>130996727
Aren't they forced too on some sites?
>>
>>130996224
i'm sure AI has been used in EDM music for a while now
>>
>>130997989
I ac play around in suno and nah it has this very specific bass sound that it uses all the time its immediately noticable

if youre using ai for your music its mostly for hip hop or country
>>
>>130994301
>AI is supposed to replace our jobs
what jobs?
>>
>>130996224
https://youtu.be/5nVbxAqIfO0
>>
>>130996877
Yeah, in theory. But I don’t think there’s any way to detect AI with 100% certainty. Especially once you add FX, filters, and all sorts of other processing, it gets very difficult. And if there are still some audible artifacts, they could also have been caused by stem splitting
>>
>>130994301
don't worry, it will replace both
>>
>>131000472
I imagine trying to look up the song elsewhere will show that its not "real"
>>
>>131001351
I don’t understand what you mean? If a producer officially releases AI-generated music but doesn’t label it as such, where else are you supposed to look it up?
>>
>>130994583
Then consider this last chance to learn to tell the difference. It's not going to get easier.
>>
>>130994902
Lol exactly
>>
>>130996465
>>search youtube for compilation of -insert genre-
pfftthahhaah
>>
>>131001464
Oooh you meant that. I was referring to youtube AI music comps that are quite popular.
>>
>>130994301
No you will work in the amazon warehouse while ai music plays. The time for human music is over, it drags the economy down.
>>
>>130994301
Thank God tidal lets you filter it out. I can't imagine using Spotify or w/e in current year.
