>>131000357So I've skimmed most of the album so far, and ultimately, here's what I think:the music is competent; if this was released 10+ years ago, it'd be quite praiseworthybut we're in 2026, having drowned in nostalgia and rehashing of the past in media for like 8 years straight, and we're collectively sick of itthis album, while good sonically, recalls more of the same old same old (and ironically has a track title with the word "future" in it)this does not sound like the future of music, rock or otherwise; it sounds like a drop in the bucket of a long history of rock music, cosmically insignificant and teleologically unremarkablethe lyrics, while I'm only catching the gist of them, are even less ambitious and apparently skilllesspeople who say the album is bad are tripping; if you are however saying it's not what the culture needed at the moment, that it doesn't live up to its full potential, then that would be very much correctit needed to experiment instrumentally, because it just sounds played out no matter how pleasant

Upon one listen via VPN ->Psycho Shit 4/10, the most grating use of autotune off the album. I do enjoy the quiet start and buildup to something loud and chaotic at least.>Dine 'n Dash7/10 - feels like The Adults Are Talking got spliced with Virtue's DNA>Lonely in the Future9/10 - currently my favorite track. >Going to Babble On7/10 - Sounds like it could've came off Angles (but one of the good Angles songs)>Liar's Remorse6/10 - Could grow on me more.
