Genuinely impressive how quickly this guy gave everyone the ick. He cancelled himself.
>>131004000It's the fate of all "conscious" rappers nowadays. See also J Cole, J.I.D. etc.

>>131004039now that you mention it did anyone even survive that whole wave other than Kendrick?
>>131004173No and the only reason that fake midget got shilled as THE one (1) conscious rapper allowed to thrive is because he's a Zionist and won't bite the hand that feeds him

>>131004000They could never make me hate this nigga. idc what corny shi he has to say, 10 Day and Acidrap are classics.
>>131004039It wasn't even him being a conscious rapper. He fell off because he believed his own hype. He got hyped up (deservedly) from 10 Day and Acid Rap then did a HARD pivot to "possy-vibes/ghospel-ish" shit like Surf/Sunday Candy. Then had the audacity to delay Kanye's The Life of Pablo album just so he could have the honor of being the worst feature on the album. Then he proceeded to drop the the worst album of the decade. It tanked his rap career so badly he had to try out acting. OP was right. He fumbled the bag so hard that people started to call him a plant just to cope. I liked what he tried to do with the Social Experiment though, it was a breath of fresh air since all that was playing at the time was mumble-rap/trap.
Critics were hyping him after Acid Rap Normies liked Coloring Book but the hip crowd dropped him then and it was clear there was a major quality dropThen he chose to go full christcuck and a literal simp record that was too over the top Hallmark schmaltz that even normies mocked it
