Why didnt it really work out for this guy ? Those first two albums are good, but he made dogshit ever since then and never lived up to his potential

He led with that "Happiness... I'll be good" track and it boxed him into pop artist you don't take seriously, so nobody bothered getting into his discography, or if they did they didn't find anything enduring.

People only take you seriously as an artist if your hit singles reflect depth and promise even more quality in the rest of the album. Pop hits are accepted as one-off's and aren't bothered with as gateways to a full album.
