love the album, but for such an incendiary cover/concept, i struggle to find much insight in the content here

>>131007942more of a parody i'd say, but outright accusing the beatles of selling out. point it, hearing the album there's a lot of "hippies are bad mmkay" but after many listens i don't see a logical foundation behind the criticism. Like he says, modern women are shallow and phoney, okay - how so? Same thing for the hippie movement. There's plenty of valid reasons to criticise hippies but his are a bit shallow to me.
