I don't get it. Can anybody explain why this album is so great and how I should properly appreciate it? I like other Rolling Stones albums but I can't get into this one. I love Rocks Off, but I feel like it's all downhill from there. But this is such an acclaimed album and I'd like to understand what people see in it.

I 100% guarantee that if you keep listening the murky swamp sound will start to reveal utter SOVL and great songs, easy entry points are Sweet Virginia, Torn & Frayed, Let It Loose, All Down the Line. Once it starts to click you realize even fillers like Shake Your Hips and Stop Breaking Down are actually absolute bangers. The decadent party vibe it was made in shines through and sounds like a bunch of people living life to the fullest
