I'm not a mesa fan personally but the dual rec rev g is the dual rec to get if you're committed to that specific sound. That price seems reasonable for the current market and they hold their value. Depending on if you do a lot of high gain stuff, the mesa will be more fun than the bassman, but the bassman will take pedals the best out of the 3. Just my 2 cents.

Celestion adds secret sauce to Mesa V30's so they arent a true 1:1 with the ones you'll find in Orange cabs, but there are more similarities than there are differences and they're still V30s at the end of the day. You might have good luck finding a used 212 rectifier cab also, there is one close to me for $600 in good shape.

I’m putting together a partscaster with two wide range voiced humbuckers because I like how bright they are and I need to pick a fretboard material for a Warmoth neck. Should I go maple, rosewood (I’d prefer a dark rosewood over light), or ebony? I’ve never played a Fender style guitar with an ebony fretboard, only set neck Gibsons. I like the idea of a maple neck with either a two tone sunburst or a white/blonde Mary Kaye, both like on a 1950s style Strat but I’m not using a Strat body shape. If ebony or Rosewood I’d like either black or vintage style aged white, or maybe like a copper color finish. I’m mostly just hung up about the fretboard.
