It's legit fascinating how at some point it became impossible to talk about Autechre on this board without some resident seether spamming the same ridiculous criticism towards them. 2000-09 was their best decade.BUT they were probably very selective during that period, so Confield, Draft and Untilted ended up containing almost nothing but 10/10 tracks.Later they released a lot more material. Much of it may not be 10/10, but it is still very interesting and worth hearing.That makes comparisons between the decades quite difficult. To make them fair you would almost have to create 70-minute best-of compilations from elseq and NTS and the live soundboard series.(But Sign and Plus really were comparatively weak points.)
