Critics had a purpose when you or someone you know had to go out and buy a record to hear an album. If everyone was saying "this one sucks", you wouldn't spend money on it. In the age of the internet where music can be streamed for free critics exist solely to reassure the timid of their musical tastes. "This album you hate sucks or this album you love rocks!" Normalfags love a perceived authority figure patting their heads.
