What makes some music sound like it's being played in a void?
Examples: Telepathy by Crosses, That's When I Think of You by 1927 and Daft Punk in general
The only contrast is that normally music sounds like it's been recorded in a room of varying size.

Is it lack of reverberation that usually is created by the studio or stage?
