Why do you listen to popslop over classical?? Be honest /mu/, what's stopping you from appreciating the greatest music bestowed on the human race? I don't hate popslop, in fact I like it, but classical is better

For clarification, popslop is any music that isn't classical or traditional folk music. so yes, that includes jazz, rock, prog, metal, etc.

I dont listen to Pop except Hayley Williams and she barely is Pop, I don't think she is at all at the moment in fact.

I listen to both, but people do because popular music expresses the nature of the contemporary world-process. Its finished now but to understand contemporary this is important
There is something repulsive about the way classical music is appreciated nowadays, a nerdishness about many of these people. You see this in the way people appreciate Mozart and Bach - and you can bet that had they been contemporary they wouldn't have been such fans.
