we were driving skylar's 99 suburban that smells like a wet basement and old newport menthols to corvallis or comin down from pdx. home of the beavers. we ordered dominoes. 3 lame-o dorks in a 99 chevy suburban. sweaty cramped existentially dead. only have stems & shake, a couple cans of bud ice and a few marlboros. pawned gear, amps, boss pedals in the back clumped together. my bass player that fat piece of shit cory took 5 slices to himself and we were like "dude wtf". he said "man's gotta eat... im hungry man. im a big guy so i need more portions. yall shoulda ordered more food". we got into a fight. i'm like 7 inches shorter than that dude so the drummer and i ganged up on him. our band was shit, we are like post-rock/math rock. if you ever heard sigur ros or foals we were trying to rip that stuff off but had like 10% of the talent.this dude cory is the entire trip slumped in the back, grease stains on his thrifted oversized cardigan and thrasher shirt (dude has never skated in his life, doesnt even know what an ollie is). he keeps beligerently and defensively repeating variations of "bro you trippin, i didnt take shit. it was fair bro. im a big dude.". a few minutes later cory says "yo i'll spot you, i got you if you guys want to hit a taco bell on the way back?". we take the offer, because no one wants to start a fight. we later kicked the guy out of the band a few weeks later via instagram dms, because the "vibes weren't right" and "we were going a new direction". he said we were "fucking skeezes" and "incels"

one time i was trying to explain to a bassist what I wanted for a riff. he was playing the right notes but with the wrong feel, emphasizing the wrong part. he goes 'pfft, what's "feel"?' like it had never occured to him that there were different ways to play a note. really made me think

I had just been invited to sing in my coworker's band(they were into foo fighters and plain white tees) and after I get to the place ready to sing (Carolina Drama) they throw on the movie Hot Rod and start smoking weed (marijuana) in front of me. Needless to say I slipped out and called the cops.
