>>131078595Paul had some good solos but if you listen to George’s guitar work on their earlier recordings like All My Loving, Till There Was You etc, you can hear some chordal stuff that I think was more advanced than what John or Paul were capable of. Or if you go even further back to some recordings of them at the Star Club there’s some nice improv from George in the guitar solos. I wouldn’t say he’s an all-time great guitarist, but he definitely knew his way around the fretboard in a way that John or Paul never did.
