I see this shit all the time, with playlists, too. Every time I try to play any music, it takes several minutes to start. Meanwhile, the program is constantly using 100% of my CPU and making my computer's fan scream. And this is on a fresh install, since it stopped loading after a crash earlier. I'm assuming, at this point, they've outsourced all programming to 80 IQ jeets who just vibecode and push any updates that don't immediately crash.
>>131081844Everybody point and laugh at the streamcuck
I cancelled spotify back in 2021 when they refused to stop profiting on conspiracy theories and misinformation, haven't looked back
If you're on PC uninstall the stock app, reinstall it with the .exe from the Spotify website and mod it with Spicetify
>>131081881Yeah, I deserve it.
>>131081844Go into settings, turn off 'hardware acceleration.' Or if it is already off, try turning it on. Works like shit for me when it's on, smooth sailing when it's off. YMMV
>>131082164>>131081844Also, log out and log back in. Thats solved most problems I've had with it on the desktop app (trouble loading media, search failures, not updating playlists, etc.)
>>131081881>>131081844If you're gonna stream why don't people just get YT premium? You get that on top of YT music which has almost anything you can think of
>>131081844>(((Spotify)))Not my problem.
