>>
>comes through a scandal without a single person who isn't a barren womb skank giving a shit
>shows sold out
>merch selling out
>Max Bemis' life deteriorating
Feels good to be a Brand New Chad

is Jesse actually back? i haven't paid much attention recently desu, just been sad ever since the band split after he got targetted
>>
>>131085869
They're back and touring. Debuting some new songs like a year or so ago. All signs point towards new stuff on the horizon. We're back, baby.

>In June 2026, the band announced a 20-year anniversary tour for The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me in the US during the fall.
wtf, is real!
>>
>>131086011
I wouldn't lie to you, brother. I missed my chance to get tickets when they came close because I couldn't get work off but if they come to your city go see em for me

if i'm being perfectly honest, jesse carries the band HARD at least when it comes to a live show
still, phenomenal atmosphere hearing Jesus Christ live and such
>>
>>131086192
Oh yeah he's a fantastic live vocalist. Very good banter too. Surprisingly funny guy. I'd just like to see Brand New once before I leave this earth and every live set I've seen is just fantastic.
>>
>>131085833
Based. I saw their Atlanta show when they returned last year and it was fucking kino. Going again for the Devil and God 20th anniversary show this fall.
>>
>>131087013
Jealous as fuck. Hope you have a good time, anon.
>>
>>131087142
Thanks, Anon. You should try to get to one of these upcoming shows if you can. You won't regret it.
>>
>>131087159
I wanted to but my job sucks. New house and had to get my HVAC replaced and no real funds for anything fun at the moment.
>>
>>131087177
Understand, Anon. In the meantime, since you're apparently a diehard like me, give me three Brand New songs you think are slept on/underrated.
>>
>>131087237
Flying At Tree Level, Fork and Knife and Batter Up. In threads on here I'm always baffled when people say it's a filler track. It destroyed me the first time I heard it. If they really did end I couldn't think of a better track to be the last one. How about you, anon? Die hard fan indeed. Loved these guys since junior high
>>
>>131087279
Good list, Anon. Flying at Tree Level would have fit in nicely on Deja. Here's three for me:

>Secondary
>Not The Sun
>Handcuffs
>>
>>131087356
It's a shame they left it off. It's a good one. And hell yeah. I love all of those. The older I get the more i appreciate the simple tunes on YFW. Secondary is a fucking banger too. Brand New are an incredible band to watch progress. It's also crazy to me that Vin wrote the lyrics to Handcuffs because that's some Jesse level shit if there ever was one. Hell of a last track but they've always been great eith those.
>>
>>131087399
Absolutely. Soco Amaretto Lime, Play Crack the Sky, Handcuffs, Noro, Batter Up -- all great closing tracks. You could rank those in any order and I wouldn't register a major disagreement.
>>
Had the misfortune of seeing this band once. The vocals were a joke and they were sloppy as fuck. You guys have terrible taste.
>>
>>131087411
They really knew how to structure albums which is something a lot of bands don't pay attention to. I think Sapone plays a big part in it but yeah. All amazing albums with a lot of growth between them and fantastic closing tracks. If those live new ones are anything to go by I think we're in for another killer album when we do get it
>>131087497
Shut up
>>
>>131087497
Cool opinion, fag. Still listening to Brand New.
>>
This album is just way too good. the way it's put together, the flow of each song into the next.
The lyrical content. It's got it all.
I can't believe people can write off a band this

albums that hit this hard for me have been
la dispute's wildlife
the strokes is this it
>>
>The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me... when i'm around minors
>>
>>131086192
Actually incredible live jesus was transcendent
>>
>>131088178
Wildlife goes hard as well. I prefer Rooms of the House but La Dispute is solid
>>131088697
Fuck off, Vickram
>>
I saw them last year and they were very good
Jesse you need to get over your 14 year old atheist phase though, you're almost 50 it's time to let go
