The cover for Julio Iglesia's 1985 album Libra, is the creepiest album cover I own. I mean, I have covers with blood and gore and shit and other unsavory shit, that doesn't bug me, most of it is related to the release, if only thematically.

But Libra? It's just the singer giving you this creepy ass, rapey, predatory look that just gets into your soul. Same look my mom (psych nurse) has gotten from mentally ill patients countless times, and the same creepo stare homeless people with a few screws loose give you.

And it was the eighties when this came out. Real effort went into the design process of this album, it wasnt 15 minutes on a computer like now. At no point did any woman look at that and say how creepy that album was.

That said, good songs.

That's not even really fair. If you lurk around on Bandcamp long enough you find albums people, put a lot of (often amateur) effort into, but the album covers are dogshit. It sullies the work, really. I know I've refused to download vaporwave and other albums on BC because the artwork was so shitty.
