It's kinda comforting how Aphex Twin sampled some things you might see on movies etc into his songs, idk random thing, was just looking around on "https://www.whosampled.com/" out of boredom and found out that he sampled some sounds of the robocop movie into Green Calx.

It just followed naturally from having a self-contained sampler, devices that most bedroom artists had to depend on because synthesizers and other music technology used to be prohibitively expensive.
