What's next? What is the next step in history and evolution of music? Is there any other path?Discuss.

>>131095550Analog doorbell is still in its infancy
i assure you ai has not beaten people in musicuse suno for a month and you will realize every song sounds the fucking same
>>131095573So do people

>What's next? What is the next step in history and evolution of music? Is there any other path?I predict music will develop a new form that is something like a fully immersive environment that reacts to the user. Ken Liu talked about something similar for how movies will evolve into fully 3D environments allowing for different ways of storytelling in a similar leap from theatre to recorded film. We've already seen this shift in living memory with the development of music videos. The human elements will feature in the core as a collaborative dialogue between the artist and the listener with the generative AI facilitating a connection. It will be a long process though, something starting with personal concerts and solo musicians utilising agents as band members with impossible instrumentals. >Now that AI has beaten people in musicIt hasn't and I don't think anyone has been able to explain why yet. My guess is that LLMs don't have physical bodies to individually experiance the world yet so everything feels like it's being performed behind a screen from an interpretation of a vague description.
>>131095573Yeah so it's just what we already had with studios building catalogues of uncredited sounds from poorly paid gig artists to generate music for headline artists too drugged out to play. The whole system deserves to crash.
>>131096745Do you even understand what LLM stands for, you imbecile?
>>131095512If you can listen to AI shit without wanting to turn it off I regret to inform you that you may be brown.
>>131097024Do you?>LLM analyses prompt and tries to bring up context>brings in generative tool to try to bring concepts into reality>but there's a gap because at no point is experiential connection made
>>131096745>It hasn't and I don't think anyone has been able to explain why yet. It's probably do to the fact that AI art generators are literally made for people who don't actually like making art because otherwise they'd just be doing it themselves instead of having an AI do it for them but what the fuck do I know?
>>131097089Yes I do. And you don't, you absolute fucking clown. It standa for Large LANGUAGE Model. God, those normalfags parroting all the nonsense they read is so cringe.
