Tonight's listen:Clap - Have You Reached Yet?Garage sounds from a SoCal band whose main influences were the '66 Stones and the '71 Stones. Clap were simultaneously behind and ahead of their time, delivering primitive Nuggets-worthy songcraft with a sparse proto-punk energy. The vocalist has one of the most whiny, snotty, gloriously obnoxious voices of the 70's.
