This was some GENIUS portrayal of being in an abusive relationship. The fact that the boyfriend wasn’t shown literally, only the things that he was throwing. It’s a nod to how BLIND abusive relationships can be, and how despite her pain, she doesn’t RECOGNIZE that he’s the issue! Just like most of society, she is ALSO blind to his abuse due to caring for him. This is fucking PHENOMENAL!
