GLARRY GUITARS™ — UNLEASH YOUR INNER SOUND. DEFINE YOUR DESTINY. What if your guitar wasn't merely an instrument, but a gateway, a vessel, a beautifully crafted wooden conduit through which the deepest frequencies of your soul could finally transcend the boundaries of ordinary existence? Introducing Glarry™, where music has never been more accessible, expressive, affordable, or profoundly Glarry. From the very first shimmering chord to the thunderous crescendo of your most ambitious riff, every Glarry guitar is designed to transform sound into feeling, feeling into music, and music into YOU. Whether you're a seasoned virtuoso, a bedroom shredder, a garage-rock visionary, or someone who has just discovered that guitars have six strings, there is a Glarry waiting to unlock your potential. Classic silhouettes. Bold finishes. Timeless tones. Unmistakable energy. Why spend more when you can simply play more? Glarry doesn't believe music should belong exclusively to the elite; we believe the next great guitarist could be anyone, anywhere, at any moment, perhaps even the guy who bought one at 2 AM because it was $89 and now owns fourteen. The possibilities are infinite. A Glarry is more than a guitar. It is an invitation. An opportunity. A statement. A beautifully affordable declaration to the universe that says: “I HAVE A GUITAR NOW.” And sometimes, that's all you need. So pick it up. Plug it in. Turn it up. Discover the moment when you stop playing the guitar and the guitar starts playing YOU. GLARRY GUITARS™ — PLAY YOUR PASSION. SHAPE YOUR SOUND. BECOME THE RIFF. YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS HERE. YOUR MUSIC IS WAITING. YOUR GLARRY IS WAITING. WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS? PICK UP A GLARRY. PLUG IN. BECOME UNSTOPPABLE.™

>>
>>131188117
Tone has no influence from the fingers at all. From a tonal perspective a guitar will sound the same played by any joe schmoe. Wood has very specfic resonances that can be enhanced or dampened based on the molecular articulation of the natural polymer. If we're talking about a real amp that operates on nonlinear electrodynamics then it has a large effect on the tone by providing organic compression and harmonic distortion. The speaker cabinet generates high frequency dispersion patterns which has some impact on the tone.
>>
Has anyone tried modding wah pedals before? The kits on Griffin effects look easy enough.
>>
>>131188304
Why do you want to tinker with bullshit? Don't you want to get better at guitar? or would you rather be good at soldering
>>
>>131188315
Unfortunately many people on /gg/ think owning the physical artifacts of music will automatically invoke the spirit of mastery.
>>
>>131188315
Bought a vox v847a and it's cuts too much low end for my taste, I like leaving wah pedals in certain positions for different rhythm tones but the low end attenuation makes rhythm playing sound flubby. I just play as a hobby and tinkering with my gear is part of the fun for me.

Stupid question for the acoustic people, but how much of a difference do bridge pins make?
Trying out some lighter strings and realized that the OG plastic ones are worn as hell.
>>
>>131188979
little to none test it yourself press your finger onto the pin and see if there is a difference in tone.
Now do it on the top behind the bridge and you'll actually hear where your acoustic guitars tone is coming from
>>
>>131188979
not enough to worry about tonewise, if there's even any difference at all, which I doubt
but if they're worn out it's not a bad idea to get new ones

>why you like 135s
A few reasons: The neck is 3-piece maple with a thick carve. The bodies are thicker than the typical ES range. More air inside equals more volume unplugged, and more sympathetic resonance plugged in. The center block on mine is made of balsawood, which means it's very light, and it rings a lot more than my other semi-hollow, and almost as much as my fully hollows. And finally, it has P100 pickups, which are quite rare.
My fully hollow electrics are a Gretsch Country Club, Gretsch Country Gentleman, Heritage H530, and Guild Starfire II.

>>
>>131189804
An insane difference, imo. I am surprised it didn't catch on, but with the Memphis+Custom Shop factory going down in flames, I guess the 135/137 went down with it.
I don't have any recordings of it, no. But here is a much more capable guy than I
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvHd6cFsnak
I play boomerslop.

>>131189777
This. I've been in every /gg/ thread for the last few months and nobody has posted any of those guitars.
>>
>>131189839
he plays nice but it would sound better with flats haha
wdym boomerslop? jazz/blues etc? I've been playing a lot of chet baker recently, i really like the shape of his melodies
>>
Are the early 00's american fender strats any good? I'm liking the lone star HSS one with duncan pearly gates. not a huge fan of 2 point trems though. i'd rather a hardtail or 6 screw vintage one.

Chet is very nice. His singing voice is still something I haven't warmed up to, but that style is very clean. You should check out Ray Charles if you like Chet Baker. Jazz guitar is something I aspire to, but for now I play Hank Williams, Neil Young, Paul Simon, and Beatles' tunes.

are the daddario NYXL bass strings similar to their standard ones where theyre not light ultra bright after breaking in?

imo nyxl are just too bright and trebly, and don't really sound better after breaking in.

you definitely didn't pick the easiest song to play and sing simultaneously haha. but that's gonna pay off when you nail it and then other songs seem easy

i still kinda suck at singing and playing with more complicated stuff, i either gotta keep my guitar part simple while i sing, or play something that follows the melody so it's less confusing. orrr i just brute force it and kinda learn how everything is supposed to slot together, like which syllable goes with which guitar note etc . but it takes me a lot of practice

Should I get a different pick to play quieter on acoustic or just learn to play quiet with the pick I use

learn to play quieter, dynamics is a very important skill. and it will help you on electric too. also, what if you wanna play really loud? you lose that with a thin pick.

hey sorry anon i was gonna respond to this but i forgot
idk about objective benefits per se, but i find when I'm writing music, it kinda tends to come out different based on how I'm approaching writing. like i kinda have a certain style of composing when it's stuff I'm writing playing guitar, and a different kinda style if it's something i write by writing out sheet music. I guess because you're just thinking about the music in a different way. so maybe just try it and see how you like it, maybe you'll prefer it, or maybe not, but either way you'll learn something
>>
