smooth jazz can be kino, it just likes to delve into cheesy corny 80s pop stuff sometimes which to me isn't the best thing to mix with jazz. kenny g has a lot of great stuff that sounds inspired by cannonball or stan getz while still sounding accessible and catchy though.
