There's some pretty scary sounding post-punk. Voodoo Dolly by Siouxsie And The Banshees (especially that bootleg recording where the tape glitches out while she's convulsing on the floor) and Permafrost by Magazine are the first that come to mind. Also that classical piece that was used in Twin Peaks S3 when the nuke is detonated
